Local Option Benefits

It is the end of another year and January 2010 is right around the corner. January reminds me of 2008, not because that was before the summer flooding, but because that January the citizens of Vinton approved the Local Option Sales Tax or LOST. The LOST has greatly benefited the City of Vinton in the first year and a half with roads being rebuilt and property taxes held down.
