The City of Vinton got hit again with another round of ice and snow today. The crews are hard at work removing the snow and salting/sanding the ice. The streets are full of slush which makes for a real mess, but the city, county and DOT work together to get all the roads cleaned up rather quick. You can see from the picture of the tree that the street crews will probably be out picking up limbs tomorrow. Thankfully, they and the electric line crews have done a lot of tree trimming to keep branches from the power lines. Otherwise several businesses and homes may have been without power today.
